The Guilderland Youth Soccer Association Matt McMullen scholarship awards are given to graduating seniors residing in the Town of Guilderland. They must be seeking higher education at any public, private, junior college, technical or vocational schools and plan to continue their soccer careers at that institution.

This annual award is given in memory of Matt McMullen who spent many years playing in our G.Y.S.A. recreational league. An award of $350.00 will be given to 1 female and 1 male applicant. Scholarship applications are to be mailed by

Awards will be based on the application and short essay on “How soccer has made an impact on my life and how it will impact my future.” The maximum length of the essay is one page. Scholarship recipients will be notified.
